We drove to Springboro to help celebrate Grandpa's birthday in early March. The kids and I baked a strawberry rhubarb pie per Grandpa's request. It was a "Hot Commodity" for all you Laurie Berkner Band fans. It was almost impossible to find rhubarb in March! Once again, Xavier blew out all the candles before the Birthday song was finished!

I bet Slick and Sly were jealous. Do you know why? I think your pie looked "so de-lish bak[ed] in that dish." Don't worry, I'm not the spy with a patch on one eye.
