Goodbye, friends!

We had an unexpected visit from our playgroup friends that moved to Tennessee almost a year ago. Xavier and Tyler were only 17 months old the last time they saw each other! The kids picked up playing and/or fighting like they'd never been apart. When it was time for them to go, the kids piled on top of Ethan to give him some goodbye hugs. Then, they stood in the hallway and shouted "goodbye!" until long after they were in the car. It was a wonderful visit!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

We drove to Springboro to help celebrate Grandpa's birthday in early March. The kids and I baked a strawberry rhubarb pie per Grandpa's request. It was a "Hot Commodity" for all you Laurie Berkner Band fans. It was almost impossible to find rhubarb in March! Once again, Xavier blew out all the candles before the Birthday song was finished!

The Big 3-0!

Andy turned 30 last Friday! To celebrate the occasion we had a fabulous fancy dinner at Benny's Pizza and one hour of bowling. We all wore some really stylish shoes and made use of the bumper lanes. Brooklyn's ball only rolled back toward us once. The kids loved it!
